About Us

Ade Rayanti adalah sekolah balet / kursus balet yang berlokasi di Tanah Kusir – Kebayoran Lama, Jakarta Selatan, dengan cabang di Kidscenter Bintaro. Didirikan tahun 1967 oleh Ade Rayanti, spesialisasinya adalah pada balet klasik. Tahun 1979 Sekolah Balet Ade Rayanti memperoleh patron dari Alexis Rassine – London, ex Premier Danseur Royal Ballet Company.

Ade Rayanti School of Ballet is a ballet school in Tanah Kusir – Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, with branch at Kidscenter Bintaro. Established on 1967 by Ade Rayanti, Ade Rayanti School of Ballet is specializing in Classical Ballet. In 1979, Ade Rayanti School of Ballet got Patronage from Alexis Rassine – London, ex Premier Danseur of Royal Ballet Company.

Classes

Classical Ballet Lessons are divided into 2 stages:

Children Grade ( Grade I – VI )

Minimum age for Grade 1 is 4.5 years old. All students are expected to attend class in Ade Rayanti uniform (white leotard, tights and white skirt) with hair neatly styled. Our classes give children a route to creative learning and expression, which in turn helps to boost confidence and self-esteem. Examinations are held every year for students that capable.

Chitra & Welly learned ballet at London, and succeded to get patronage for Ade Rayanti School of Ballet from ALEXIS RASSINE, former principal of ROYAL BALLET and SADLER WELLS ROYAL BALLET, LONDON. Chitra dan Welly also got opportunities to learn Flamenco at its origin country, Spain.

1972 & 1973

Go to Madrid. Learned Flamenco Dance at ESCUELA DE DANZAS PILAR DE ORO – taught by Maestro Morales & ESTUDIOS AMOR DE DIOS – taught by Profesora Maria Merced.

1974

Go to Barcelona. Learned Flamenco Dance at ESTUDIO DE BALLET CLASICO & ESPANOL – taught by Trini & Concha Borull.

1977

Go to London. Learned about Children & Professional Grade Ballet Syllabus , learned international choreography (Swan Lake, La Sylphide, Nutcracker) from ALEXIS RASSINE former Principal of Royal Ballet and Margot Fonteyn’s partner.

1978

Go to London. Attended Teacher Course dan got Teacher Certificate from ALEXIS RASSINE. Also learned Flamenco at SPANISH DANCE CENTRE – taught by Tani Morena

1979

Go to London. Attended Professional Ballet Seminar and got PATRON ALEXIS RASSINE for Ade Rayanti School of Ballet.

1980

Go to London. Attended Professional Class at CLEO NORDI, ex Soloist at Pavlova Company.

1981

Go to London. Learned Coppelia coreography and also learned upgrading for Children Grade & Professional Grade syllabus from ALEXIS RASSINE.

1985

Go to London. Learned Don Quixote choreography & attended Professional Class at ALEXIS RASSINE. Got letter FOR MERIT AND EXCEPTIONAL PROFICIENCY IN CLASSICAL BALLET from Alexis Rassine.

Tasya

Tasya started to learn ballet since 1978.

Already dancing in various ballet story, such as:

Swan Lake ( As Odile in Swan Lake 2007, Pas de Trois, Pas de Quatre Variation Act I, Leading Swan, Pas de Quatre in Swan Lake 1988, 1991, 1997)
The Sleeping Beauty ( Lilac Fairy, Blue Bird )
Don Quixote ( Flower Girl, Street Dancer, Queen of the Dryads
Giselle ( Myrtha – Queen of Willis, Peasant Pas de Deux)

Since 2005, creating choreography for Ade Rayanti, such as Viva (Ballet Night 2006), recreated Swan Lake Act 1 (2007), Water (Splendid Night 2008), Princess Talisa & the Fairies (2009) and also ballet for events such as Nokia Fashion Food & Festival 2005, HSBC event – Four Season Hotel 2007. She also became talent for catalogue & print ads, such as Sampoerna-ITB Foundation & BNI Credit Card.

Since 2006, Tasya has been teaching at Ade Rayanti Delman Indah, especially for Grade 1 and performances. She also teaches Ballet Extra Curriculair at Kinderland Pakubuwono, Sinar Mas School, Pondok Indah Global School and Apple Tree Pre School.

She took ISTD Ballet Teacher Workshop at London
